I pre-ordered my Rascal 80 from Sigplanes.com a couple weeks ago. Web site still says by June 1st. Meanwhile, I'm finishing up one of the older first generation Rascal 40 ARF's, will have a Saito 56GK. This is my second one of these, the first I sold at auction after over 200 flights. I have two more Rascal 40 ARF's NIB on the shelf as well. I really like this airplane, but mounting the engine is a real pain using the beam mounts and metal plate arrangement. I hope the new Rascal 80 flies as nice as my 40, will be an interesting comparison.
Can't decide on engine options. I have a near new Saito 72GK, but also recently acquired an OS Engines GGT 10 and 15. These are the OS glow gas engines, I have one flying in a Hangar 9 Alpha 60 trainer for testing purposes. Any thoughts...?
