I saw something fall off and told my spotter to track it. It took a few seconds as the plane got closer, I saw a white spot where a black spot should have been. Had to lean on the rudder with a little aileron. I was pretty high and had to go around. On approach, I throttled back, dove for the runway and dropped gear. Leveled off at about 20' or so and dropped flaps and throttled up a little to keep control. It settled down nicely on a nice long grass runway. Then I had time to think about my shorts. Just the week earlier we lost Randy's B-17 at bomber field. I sure didn't want to loose this one. Never did find the engine. They only got the landing video which looks pretty uneventful.
