The balance sounds about right... slight nose-down attitude.
Are you saying the battery pack is on the fuse stick bottom and it runs through the landing gear and protrudes about a half inch towards the motor? That should work, although on my SS the landing gear doesn't have enough room at the top for a battery to pass through??
