Saito FG90r3 - is it a reliable engine?
Has anyone had good luck with the Saito FG90r3? When I ask about it with more experienced pilots than myself, I don't get the best feed back. One pilot tells me that a pilot he knows brought a spare with him to Top Gun - and needed it!!
Last week a gentleman was maidening his Corsair and another experienced pilot made the comment that "well that engine might last 5 flights before needing repair!" And now Kevin mentioned he had his quit on him after 5 tanks.
So I was just wondering - has anyone had good luck with the Saito FG90r3?
