Tamiya are going to price themselves out of business. Why would one buy a model that you have to build, install optional ball bearings, steel gear set, buy and install a radio system and battery. When you can get a RTR for way less. Tamiya thinks very highly of themselves to believe that most would prefer to buy one of their kits vs a Traxxas or other RTR kit with all the bells and whistles.
