OK, at least I'm not going crazy. I looked at the Nova site and they listed an outboard, but no stock for sale, and no picture of an outboard. I do have a few K&B lower units that are just laying around, but no spare Rossi heads. The thing I wonder is this; I would assume the attraction of using a Rossi head would be higher RPMs without losing rods. That makes me wonder how much abuse the K&B lower units can take? The trick would be some kind of way to couple the head to the lower unit and still leave a means of starting. Thanks for the link Joe, I appreciate the help. I have a 46 Prather deep Vee with a Rossi (inboard of course), and really like that motor. Plus I love to tinker and just retired this last year after 37 years of pipe-fitting, so a hybrid outboard project might be the ticket.
