Thanks for the advise. Yeah, I have a full faced DOT helmet. It has a flippable sun visor, which has come in handy. I bought a 2016 Honda CB500F on Friday. I wasn't sure starting off on a 500 would be a good idea, since a lot of people start with 250s and 300s. Once I did a test drive, I knew it was the bike for me. It is really easy to maneuver and has plenty of power for highways and getting out of hairy situations. I have gone on a couple of rides and I am having a blast.
Hopefully it doesn't take too long for you to get the heli and plane back in the air. I might ride my bike by my old flying field today and see if any planes are flying.
