HI All
As I said, took vacation day to maiden mine. Sun shine but about a 10 mph cross wind, I was wondering if I made the right chose to do it. I did set the CG at 195 MM I found that to be Just right.
I am using a Jetcat P-60 SE , I am also flying off a grass field. It took about 300 ' to lift off. It was rock solid . I wouldn't want anything smaller that a 60 size if your going off of grass.
The trim flight was very uneventful, ( which I like ) I click of Elevator & 2 clicks of Aileron
The Mini handle the cross wind with no problem at all. I did have the Aileron throw set at 9/16, was to sensitive for me. Turned it down to 3/8" & found it to be perfect.
I flew 7 Minute flights with always about 1/4 tank of fuel remaining. I put on 7 flights yesterday.
My personal opinion of the Mini is ,it 's a great looking , easier to fly & in the Jet model world a good value for what you receive.
