Venom Battery
I purchased a 6S-5,000 mAh Venom Li-Po from RC Planet on June 9, 2017. The battery arrived two-weeks later and, to me, it appeared "puffed".
I measured the width & thickness and took a number of photo's, that I sent to RC Planet with an explanation of my concern's.
Their response was"it doesn't look puffed to me".And "any issues would have to addressed to Venom".
Although the battery definitely appeared puffed, I did not pursue the issue, figuring they knew better than me.
I then had the battery stored in my workshop (3-rd. bedroom) for over a month (I was hospitalized).
When I next checked the battery a portion of the wrapping had fallen off and the battery was oozing a foul liquid.
I contacted Venom via their Customer Service email form.
They responded immediately, assigned a case number, and within two-days shipped me a replacement battery, post paid.
I must say I was awed by Venom's rapid response and replacement policy!
I don't think I have to tell you what brand all of my flight batteries are going to be from now on.
Way to go Venom!
