Default Ultimate Jets F-84F

Dear all.
I would like to introduce you to our new kit that will be made available after we start deliveries of the Crusader.
This is a 1/5 scale F-84F Thunderstreak model.

This was CAD designed from a 3D scan of FS-718 on display at Lackland AFB, Texas.
The CAD model was developed over a period of 2 years and all the panel lines, rivets were fine tuned from the thousands of pictures we took of this airframe.

The plug was milled with our Kuka robot and optimized to reduce shipping volume. As such, the fuselage comes in two parts, the fin is removable as well as the stabilizers.
The plane features all the rivets, access panel screws, hatches and scale skin wrinkles.

The model features ailerons, flaps, full flying stabilizers and rudder.
Stabilizers are actuated by direct servo drive from two units located in the tail.
Many large hatches are available for easy access to your equipment, in the nose, cockpit and engine bay areas.

The model is produced at our Dubai facilities from our full carbon fiber "CloudTech" process.
Most of the plane is made from aero spec ultra light weight PEI foam that is thermo formed at 300c before lamination. The carbon fiber used is a UHM Torayca uni-directional non crimp fabric at 30 grs/sqm.
Layers of fabric are oriented according to a specific software calculation to optimize rigidity and weight. The plane is vacuum molded and glue joints fused in a post curing chamber to produce a quasi monocoque structure.

The complete airframe is feather light at 6 kgs without engine and landing gear but extremely strong.

The hyper scale landing gear is hybrid 3D printed/ CC milled from carbon fiber and aluminum. The tires are 3D printed from our unique 3D honeycomb process, using a specific abrasion resistant rubber.

The result is a plane that will be able to stay below 13 kgs dry and compete at the JWM in that category.

I have attached a few pictures of the skin surface details and the internals. If you have any question about it, please let me know.

Fuselage length: 2.62 m/ 103"

Span: 2.05 m/ 80"

The model will be displayed at our stand at jet Power.
