Hey guys, first time posting but ive been reading on here for a very long time . I've finally got around to building my dog kadet lt 40 and while all i wanna do is fly the darn thing I just can't seem to stop overcomplicating things lol .. I've converted her to a tail dragger , added a bayonet and two wing bolts . Swapped out the tail feather stock for spruce and adding two out board aieleron servos and some flaps (modified the trailing edge too so that me flaps are closer to wing root ).
I only have but two questions . What do you guys thing about using the rudder stock for inboard flaps ?
also what do you guys think about ngh 17 as power source? I know kinda overkill but I figure I can buzz around 1/4 throttle and sip fuel till I figure out how to make it hover
ok fine 3 questions .. for the outboard Aileron servos do you thing some hitec 9 gram servos will cut the mustard ? (Hitec hs 65-hb plus) they have carbonite gears.
