Go to your local hardware store and get 3.5x10mm screws. That will allow you to use the rubber grommets. I mounted mine without the wood blocks and straight to the hatch.. Just one less place to have a failure.
I did not use the rubber servo grommets. I am using a Saito FG 84 I had in a giant Corsair. Had no vibration issues.
The build is going well. Both wing halves are finished.
I bought the kit from Bigplanes in the Netherlands & they supplied electric ESM landing gear. The gear doors were easy to set up using this gear.
Starting on the fuz tomorrow.
I am not a fan of wires for rudder & will use the servo hatch in the tail fin method.
