Vasek,
Detail of canopy making here:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-w...rsair-105.html

First step is to cut the H9 canopy at the good place to have in one hand the windshield and in the other hand the sliding part.
Then I have done a template with paper to have the outline of the frames.
For the windshield, I have rolled the sheet ( 0.5mm aluminium sheet),stretching it at the base of the windshield to fit it good with the fuselage (stretching with a hammer and a forming tool),
I have adjusted it to the fuselage until it fit well with the original H9 sliding canopy.
And after, I have cutted out the parts to be removed, and do the holes for screw.
For the inner skin, I rolled an other sheet, and I have traced the cuts to make from the first parts.
The same process was used for the sliding canopy, but I had rolled the pieces after they had been cutted out. Sliding canopy is made with four parts ( 2 for the inner skin, 2 for the outer skin).
The Screw are M 1.4 ones. No litho plates, just a lot of working hours,
Another advice: buy a big sheet, because maybe you'll have to redo the same parts two or three times... ;-)
