Hello folks,
We just returned from a spectacular weekend of flying at the "Tiger-Field"
near Scranton, SC! Had many flights on our new Hunter and we were absolutely delighted with its performance! A highly recomended airframe choice for those of you that enjoy the "scale" aspect of the hobby!
We did unfortunately suffer a grounding event that luckily occured during a turn to finals....
The turbine compressor had ejected a blade or two, and thankfully this was on final at a low thrust setting. Normal landing with a slightly high pitched squeal from the engine and an imediate shutdown.
There is a slim hope with the repair, however i am aligning the purchase of the replacement as I write this.
