Thanks to everyone's feedback on the marketplace, we’ll be seeing a lot of new updates and the return of some sorely missed features! The update will be rolled out in two parts coming Sept. 4th and Sept. 26th. Notably, the first part will include browsing fixes, and the second part will include the return of sales invoices!
Part One: Browsing Fixes, Reorganized Categories, and Marketplace Version Update
This update will be released Tuesday, Sept. 4th.
Browsing Fixes
Use the “back” button without returning to the homepage of the marketplace; retains all your search filters! Thank you for all of your feedback and patience on this bug.
Reorganized Categories
We’ve taken your feedback on marketplace categories to heart. Filters on search result pages will be better organized, making the browsing experience more intuitive and relevant to your searches.
Marketplace Version Update
Existing bugs will be fixed and visual styling will be updated. As requested, when your for-sale ad is about to expire, a notification will be sent to you via private message.
Part Two: Invoices, New Listing Upgrades, and Listing Types
This update will be released Wednesday, Sept. 26th.
Invoices
Back by popular demand, invoices will be available through automated private messages!
Listing Extensions Upgrade
No longer will you have to create a new listing if yours expires! 5 days before your listing expires, an email will be sent to you that offers the option of extending the expiry date of your ad.
Bundle Package of Upgrades
An option to buy a package of upgrades to make your listings stand out more in the Marketplace at a discounted price.
Forum Featured Listing Upgrade
Gear vendors will be able to feature listings in the headers of forum sections.
Promotion Listings
Vendor ads that offer discounts will now be designated as such, allowing vendors to advertise RCU exclusive deals, and allowing buyers to shop with them.
Group-Buy Listings
Vendors will be able to offer group-buy options and pass the savings onto members! Once a quota of buyers is met, a vendor will sell the product at a discounted price to the whole group!
