Bill, In my opinion the FG-60 would be fine. There is a video on utube of an FG-60 in a TF zero and looks like it flies it very well. The Zero and the Hellcat are similar in weight, (zero 27lbs/HC 27lbs and wing loading (Zero 46-50oz, HC 42-46 oz.

Also videos of the FG-60 on the TF P-47 also a good combo but the P-47 is lighter (21.5lbs)with a lighter wing loading 37oz.
