B.J. Park has been flying and developing this since the 2016 timeframe you referenced. I am not sure how many other fliers have been testing this, but I think he has had several units in test. I think he flew it at the 2017 WC and also at the recent European Championships. From what I understand, the folks that saw it at the EC recently were pretty impressed. I, personally, have not seen it fly so I can’t offer any comparison.

I am installing it in the BJ Craft Eternity, which is what B.J. has been flying. He shipped the drive to me with a firewall and rear mount that fit the Eternity.

I am happy to try this out and offer my observations. My benchmark is the Adverrun, which I am currently flying in my BJ Craft Agenda.

I don’t know his plan for general release. I will send an inquiry to B.J. about his plans.
