My understanding was a fresh shipment of boats and parts was to arrive in the US in September. But looking at various online sources, it appears that shipment never made it. Kyosho America shows no stock but does offer a waiting list. You could always get on that and see what happens.

I have an original plastic version of the SW that dates back to the first or second year they were out. Needs a total refit but that project will have to take it's place in a very long line of projects. For some reason in retirement I get less accomplished on my hobbies than when I was working full time.
