I totally agree with that. Given two similar engines, one with with higher specific output, the higher output engine will spool up faster. The broader, more tolerant fuel ratio acceptance range of alcohol fuel is another contributing factor. I almost converted my FG-11 to methanol but simply traded it for a new Saito FA-82.

I like the T-Clips, it has a lot of the same elements present in the Toledo Special. That is a fantastic plane to hot dog around! Now you did it, I am ordering a T-Clip
