The maiden flight of that Cub shocked me. I throttled up, and within 10 feet, the plane went straight up vertical and climbed like a rocket! Took quite a bit of down trim to settle it and now when the radio is on and neutral sticks it has a slight down trim on the elevator. When putting I have to give a little up to stay level, because the moment I hit WOT it will pitch the nose up and just GO! Guys at the field just shake their heads and say, That's not right.
