I realize this is literally years late, perhaps it will still be of use to someone in the future.

The fuel tank was mounted directly behind the firewall on the black shelf (4th pic?). I do not recall the size, it was the largest I could physically fit. Seems like it was something like 10-12 oz range, rectangular.

The spacer, I believe, was 3.5 degrees as I described in the original post. I oriented it so the thrust was in the desired direction, down and right.

I do not recall the takeoff weight, but I remember I was able to balance it without adding any weight I just moved the receiver battery until I got CG where I wanted it. The battery was just aft of where the pilot seat would have mounted.
