I used a single JR 8711 servo for the elevator. I used Tamiya spray can paints for the 3 color scheme which I thought were a great match and faded the colors in well, followed by Klass Kote clear satin finish. Mine came in at under the LMA1 limit at 54 lbs wet. I think latex paints will work as well and much cheaper. War Birds colors would work as well as they are latex. If you decide to epoxy clear over them, the latex needs to cure for a month.
Single servo on the elevator works just fine. The extra servo in the tail requires about 16oz more in the nose to balance. I have used War Bird Colors with good results. Clean the surface well then rough it up. The challenge is on the outer wing panels where the simulated fabric is. Much sanding and you loose the effect. I use a poly clear.
