Some details, my QED has 100 inch of span, complete self made fully scale referred to original drawings, springs, damper, kinematics. Anything is done in CAD. i just started to build the fibre glass parts master moulds from foam and glass. The gear is a stainless steel tube design with damper from a Groeschl Car and Spring custommade. I first time tried to make parts from carbon "dust" and resin, even lighter than aluminum and much stronger, stole that Idea from Vitali Robertus of Rusjet, he made gear parts from fibre, very scale and super lightweight. My first part came off tool with 17,2gr not machined and aluminum would be 42gr machined, thats an argument to make the big gear parts like fork and trailiung arm in this desgin. Masterparts are printed and fillered and some din Bolts located for bore dia. cheers matze
