Both tk 40 and 80 have the ultrasonic ESC
both have adjustable battery treshold
both have the same soundchip
tk 80 have way more light options/outputs over the tk40 ( just like tk60 over the tk24) good for a modern tank.
tk80 have 2x 15 watt onboard amp ,and external audio input option
remote volum controll option
