I do allot of repairs for guys and see some very bad light installs. People think we’ll its just lights and don’t take it seriously. Well that ring comes loose and gets in the exhaust and burns through the wires causing a short. Then that short melts the wires that are probably tie wrapped to your flight controls servo wires and your plane crashes for an unknown reason.

My my advice would be to make sure it’s screwed in or use something that heat won’t effect like safety wire.
