In short, they see no value in it for them to join. IF they knew the AMA existed to begin with. As has been said here and elsewhere by many people many times in many ways.
And IMHO the AMA is far from being a premier group. About the only claim to fame I see is they're the only such group. Especially since all the current Drone related groups are for Profit.
