I haven't posted much in quite some time. I wanted to share my latest project. I purchased the f104 from mirce models. He built this model so he could document the build. I bought the model from him with the intention of flying her at top gun this year. The model is entered in the unlimited class and mirce is part of the team. The team name is "Mirce Fierce F104". I love finishing models in flite metal. This was by far the biggest model that I have ever put flite metal on.. It was a labor of love. She has the scale airworld retracts, a Tailored pilot from England and Tailormade dry transfers from germany. Power is a bf 300 turbine. The cockpit kit is out of Italy. I'm really proud of her. She is a replica of Chuck Yeager's F104. I hope you enjoy the pics. Barry
