The cowl on the zero has more opening for the exit air than the FW190.
The lack of exit air concerns me. Not sure what you can do to improve that. You should consider some telemetry for monitoring temps in the air. YET, others have flown the Saito in the FW 190 with success. I've seen several videos on Youtube. Sounds awesome with plenty of power.

This one looks like it has a fan attached to the back of the prop to improve air flow. I believe the original full scale FW 190 was air cooled with a similar fan set-up.
I would call USA distributor Mike at caimandist.com for advice on the proper setup for the Saito.

I've been thinking about the same combo. Hope Mike can help.
