Thank you for the images and commentary. - I have the original Hatori setup which I see is in the last image you show - This confirms how I thought it went together and is much appreciated. I have an older Hyde mount which does not have a nose ring, and I am hoping this older mount system ( Hyde + Hatori) pipe will stil be OK - I practice pattern maneuvers and don't formally compete as I cant disappear for weekends nor do I wish to add competition to my hobby. I flew the black magic for several years on Electric and note the reduction in prop size I need to move to with the 170DZ - I am now trying to figure out what an ideal prop would be for this setup. Many members at my club now understand when I tell them that pattern ships are great sport flyers as well
