Traffic will be detoured during construction in Oil Creek Township.
TITUSVILLE — Construction to replace a bridge on Route 27 in Oil Creek Township will begin June 10.
The bridge was built in 1922 and is over a tributary of Oil Creek between Newland Avenue and Pastorius Road.
Cars will be detoured onto Johnson/Hydetown Road and routes 408 and 8 during construction.
Trucks will be detoured onto routes 198, 77 and 8.
Construction is expected to be completed by July 16.
This bridge is located between the City of Titusville and the Titusville Airport and will affect traffic from the north and south via Route 8
