Hello Franz,

The quality of the kit is very good, but needs a good once over as most ARFs do. Hardware is good, fuel tanks are good quality and none leaked. The gear is very nice and well made.

However i I tried to fly mine from grass with a 100 and I was not able to take off. So I think from grass a 140 is necessary. With full fuel mine came out at 40lbs, and I still haven’t added all the scale details.

As as far as alternatives are concerned, It depends on how much prefab your looking for. I believe the Avonds is a
similar size, however this one has much more prefab and is extremely well done and it’s pretty much competition ready right out of the box. Definitely the most beautiful ARF of the Fouga on the market.
