I thought my fowler flaps were a bit sticky. I used some dry lube spray on the rails and it really smoothed out the mechanism.
Transporting and storing a big A-10 is always a concern. I started with a stand which will eventually have 4 wheels, storage for both the fuselage and the wings(with ordinance) with the resting spots correlating with former positions for strength.
A few other musts for my stand is to make sure I can get the wings on one at a time while keeping the jet stable (ie the jet won’t want to tip over), one wing can be stored with the aluminum/titanium phenolic tube already installed and the ability to cycle the gear unimpeded.
