I’ve been using a Makita drill!
Made an adapted cone with a hex shaft and I just use it like usual. Works great. Used on Saito 84, 90, 60 three cylinder engines, DLE 61 and many more. Much easier than anything else and more ergonomic plus it charges like normal.

I have the other starters like the big belt drive unit and the small gear drive one too. I modified them to plug into a 3S LiPo and they work OK but the LiPo packs don’t last as long with all the sitting around and then hard use. It’s easier to just use the drill which sees regular use so there’s no real pack maintenance.
