They are different categories of planes, so it will come down to what you actually want. The Cub is going to have similar characteristics to all other Cubs. It's a scale plane with scale quirks. I enjoy my .40 size Cub and appreciate its quirks. Cubs can be relaxing to fly and immensely satisfying to fly well as you gain the skills for ground handling and get the setup right to coordinate the turns properly. The Timber is a sport plane, made to fly slowly very well. I would expect it to have a lighter wing loading and get tossed around in the wind even more than a Cub will. It doesn't look like a full size plane, but it does fly nicely.
So what do you actually want? A scale plane to replicate the quirks of the real thing or a slow flying sport plane?
