Hydro when I got back into RC my first build was a scratch built Ugly Stik. Talk about building blocks, I used what I had on hand. LOL.
I have pretty much had to do the same thing, with mixed results. My latest builds, using the 90* angle blocks, have been turning out much straighter and requiring much less "tinkering" to get everything lined up square.
