Sylinker set up to my digital camera=great picture!
I just tried an experiment which so far is very encouraging (perhaps this has been done by many others already in which case the wind just got knocked out of my sail!). I am building a BTE Flyin King to be used for aerial photography. I have one of those cheap Spylinker 800mw wireless cameras with a CCD camera. I am making a mount to carry my Canon A70 digital camera as weight is no issue for the Flyin King.
My digital camera like many others has a line out for video and audio so I hooked the video line out to the Spylinker transmitter and then hooked the receiver to my TV and wahoo what a great picture it produces!! The camera can still be used as a camera while hooked up this way or I can tape the flight to a camcorder using the camera optics. The Canon A70 has the ability to turn off the auto shut down also.
Now if only I could work fast and have this all up and flying I could post some test videos.
