A servo saver is a spring loaded servo horn, that allows the steering to give if you hit something with the front wheels that jars the steering. A failsafe, protects your truck from a run away by monitoring the radio signals being transmitted to the servo you have it hooked up to, generally the throttle servo. If the failsafe detects a drop off in signal, it will set the servo at a pre set position, usually partial brake.
