Thats pretty much what I figured. The feedback squeal would stop when I would snap my fingers at the mic then resume.
I figure that it wont happen when outside.

The 200mw transmitter mic is incredibly sensitive when left in a quite room. It damps down very well when on a plane.
I fly electric planes and when I turn the motor off to glide, I can hear the birds chirping in the trees below!
