Default RE: OIL FOR INTEGY SHOCKS

Twin, if you think about the heavy spring heavy oil then you run in to a problem of no give. the shock slows down the travel of a suspension arm. The spring works to counter-act gravity and return the arm to its original position. If you put a really heavy spring on the arm their will be less movement due to a higher counteractive force. If you add to that a heavy shock oil that provides heavy damping you will get no give in your suspension and it will cause a very rough ride, forcing the tires to take all of the impact. This is great for sports cars where you don't want the suspension moving all over the place. In MTs you want the exact oposite, you want as much suspension movement as possible. Thus the heavy spring, light oil an vise-versa.
