RE: Great Planes Building Board Modification
I purchased 2 sheets of 2'X4'X3/4" particleboard from Lowe's for $5.25 each. I've glued them back to back and additionally, fastened them together with stainless steel wood screws from one side to ensure that they won't move. Because there is no contiguous grain in the sheets, they will not warp. If I have a problem sticking T-pins into the board, I may buy 1/8" or 1/4" sheet cork, and apply it to one side. This should create an solid, non-warping building board.
