Go find Modelairtech website, Tom Hunt proprieter, NEAT fair organizer. Tom has geared and belt drive solutions and can provide sage advice tailored to your plane and needs. E-Zone folks can also provide some suggestions. I'm planning to build a vintage Dynaflite P40 ( .30-.40 size) and power it with an old Astro 15FAI geared motor and 12 3000MA cells. Power will be marginal but scale-like, plan to build extra light and do lots of sanding and hole making. Tip, lots of info available on E-Zone too.
