Honestly dont know yet but I flew the US60 out to a point where I got nervous and brought it back. Farthest away that I have EVER flown anything other than a glider in a thermal which was more up than out.
With the included whip antenna I believe the range to exceed pretty much what anyone would normally need. The patch would increase that a lot and allow for the plane to roll, loop, tumble and so forth.
