in what way is the savage a pain to work on?
why do you think a 1/8 is more fun than a 1/6 or 1/5?
i'd rather sacrifice 10mph or so of top end to get better low end. 40mph is still plenty fast. plus i know i'll get the itch to modify and will eventually replace the engine and the gearing. so i think i'd prefer the better durability of the savage over the mgt or mammoth
