Default JR XP8103 programming question...

I have just bought my first airplane ever to have 2 servos for the elevator. I figured out most of the programming for it no problem. I made a mix to mix elevator to AUX3, and then I noticed that the 2 servos had very different center points. Then it dawned on me why this was. My aux3 potentiometer was maxed to one side. When I set the POT back to center (0) the servos now had the same center spot, travel and direction. Only when I touch the pot, the elevator half on the AUX3 channel moves with the POT. I can only set AUX3 to be on the AUX3 POT, the ELEV switch, the LAND switch, and I believe the PROG MIX switch. My other option is to mix the elevator to another channel besides AUX3, only the only un-used channel left is SPOI, and it has the same pitfalls.

My question is how do you guys get around all this?

Thanks in advance!
