You can set that up through a throttle to throttle mix, assign it to the gear switch, and set the rates (should be a negative percentage I believe for most set ups) as needed. There have been a few people do similar functions. If it is a feature you would like to have, I say go for it! Just be sure not to hit it accidentally in an in-opportune time.
