I would go with the TNX. I have a Terra Crusher and I love it. It is super durable. But the stock motor is garbage. I recently intalled the T-Maxx Fantom FR18. It brings the truck to a whole new level. The transmission also exhibits too much slip. You may want to install a forward only conversion. It helps a lot. I order parts through tower hobbies. If you can get one used that's cheap enough you may want to consider it otherwise buy a new TNX. The TNX is lighter by almost 4 lbs. It has a O.S. built motor and forward-only transmission. (I believe reverse will be an option soon.)Good luck!
