This is not the front of my mustang, but it is the motor mount that I used. It looks exactly like this, the ESC is mounted in the same way, with one exception. Mine is mounted on a wood spacer off of the bottom of the mount, putting it in the flow of air from the front of the opening of the cowl. The fire wall on the mustang was cut out in the shape of the cowl opening. The air comes in, crosses over the ESC, goes into the fuselage, over the batteries, and out of the bottom of the fuselage, just behind the oil cooler "hump". The air exit is two holse that are 1.5 inches in diameter and have soffit vents glued in the holes. I painted the white plastic soffit vents gray to match the color of the gray monocoat.

I hope this photo comes out. There will be more to come.
