Ok, I undertand what system you have
Can you atach your header like the picture with a spring???
You have to be carefull if you use a wire around the head and around the pipe to tie them together because this may vibrate and make noise RF interference.
Maybe the wire thas goes around the pipe you can slip a silicone fuel tubing and this way you eliminate metal to metal contac.
