If you were to chose a rtr and are feeling sorry to miss out on the building part, look at it this way. If you buy a rtr, you'll still need to take it apart and rebuild it sometime. You'll break things and it will need cleaning, ... In hat view, the rtr has the advantage that you can start driving fast and it is built correctly.
