Default I am NOT happy-

I got my TX back with a bill for $104.56 [:@] 6 hours of labor and $45 in parts - If I had any idea how much it was going to cost I would never had sent it in! The service request form does not indicate that quotes are possible nor does it have an area for said request-

The TX worked perfectly except for the gimbal being loose- $100 + is a little crazy for what appeared to be a broken spring!!!!!!!!!!!!

How would you recommend I handle this? What is the replacement value of the TX? Seems like $104.56 is MORE than 50% of the replacement cost for just a TX especially an older 622!

What can you do for me? I am so mad I can hardly type right now---- Why did I bother to fill out the form and leave my info. if no one was going to even try to contact me?

I mean big difference between "Fix the broken spring" and :
Beauty nut, toggle switch
Case: front half
Gimbl ass.
T/R gimbal broken thus replaced and A/E gimbal broken replaced

Common sense would be to check with the customer before doing 6 hours of labor on an old radio and billing over $100-
